Mandarin Translator (Project-Based)
PT. Dollar Information Consultan Indonesia is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mandarin Translator for a project-based role in Cikarang Pusat, Jawa Barat. You will be a key player in our construction and project management initiatives, ensuring seamless communication between Indonesian and Chinese stakeholders. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rp 12,000,000 - Rp 16,000,000 per month.
In this role, you will daily translate technical documents, contracts, and project proposals between Indonesian and Mandarin. You'll work closely with our project managers and engineers, using tools like Trados Studio and MemoQ. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Translate technical documents, contracts, and project proposals between Indonesian and Mandarin with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Use translation memory tools like Trados Studio and MemoQ to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Review and edit translations for grammatical accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Adapt to project timelines and priorities, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in translation and localization.
- Provide feedback on translation quality and suggest improvements to processes.
- Attend client meetings and presentations as needed, representing the company professionally.
🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional translator, with a focus on technical or business documents.
- Fluent in both Indonesian and Mandarin (HSK level 5 or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian and Chinese business culture.
- Proficiency in using translation memory tools like Trados Studio and MemoQ.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
